This could’ve been a really bad day for the Skunk kid. Ice cream hero saves the day and warms the world with her woolen karma.

Speaking of ice cream, when I was a very serious 6-year-old in Tokyo taking dance lessons, a group of us used to stop by an ice cream shop afterwards with our moms to hang out. (I think it was actually a gourmet gelato place, but that makes us sound like little city shits.) Every week, for several months, someone in the group would accidentally drop their ice cream on the floor. It was like we were cursed. Except me, that is! Week after week, my ice cream safely traveled from its cone into my belly. Then, just as I was about to declare myself the only invincible ice cream eater of the universe, my scoop was suddenly seized by gravity and splattered on the floor. It may have happened in slo-mo. Who knows. Physics is crazy. Anyway, this little kid learned that shit just kind of happens. (And, that total embarrassment is always just around the corner.)
Anyway, it doesn’t have to end there! This is all about what happens after shit happens. Just like how the kind singer-songwriter Sheep came along and saved Skunk’s world, we can all try to be extra kind to a stranger in need! Small acts of kindness can truly make someone’s day, and all that goodness will always come back to you. It just kind of works that way.
